Wolves FC Club Referees – Brisbane Football Level 4 (entry level) referee course
Wolves FC has a great group of young club referees who officiate our MiniRoos games and some of our junior games. It is a great way to earn some money and also enjoy football from a different perspective. Wolves FC also supports our club referees to advance in their referee education and accreditation. Wolves also supports any adults who are interested in becoming referees as well and we are in great need of referees and assistants for our older Junior and some senior men’s games.
As such we are looking to host a Football Brisbane Level 4 Referee course, which is free. This course is the minimum requirement before Brisbane Football will consider referees for games they appoint. While not mandatory for Wolves FC club referees we do encourage aspiring referees to do this free course and club referee appointments will be assigned more favourably to our accredited referees.
For those interested, please start by reading here – http://www.footballqueensland.com.au/referees/how-to-become-a-referee/
Anyone wishing to undertake the course will need to first complete the interactive workbook and receive your Laws of the Game Certificate https://laws.myfootballclub.com.au/. Also look here for help – http://www.footballbrisbane.com.au/referee-resources
The Minimum age requirement to attend these courses and register with Football Brisbane as a Match Official is 13 years of age. For younger referees we can run an in-house training course which will enable the younger ones to help out with our MiniRoos referees.
Please contact our Volunteers Coordinator Gavin Hall (email@example.com) if you are interested with your details. Happy to answer questions as well.
